In Sellers’ Paradise we give you branding tips for small businesses. Under Tips & Tricks we’ve got info on how to get the popular MBS Mobile App, and under The World Of Amazon we take another look at the ever-critical subject of advertising.

Growth and prosperity await. Let’s get started.

WHAT’S NEW

As we launch into the New Year we thought here, in the “What’s New” section, would be a good place to give you a big-picture look at some of the planned enhancements for ManageByStats over the next 12 months.

Here’s a brief overview of what’s coming:

  • A completely revamped and more robust inventory management system.
  • More enhancements and functionality for Keywords.
  • Wizards for numerous tools.
  • Full-featured functionality for the Mobile App.
  • Streamlined sign-ups.
  • A robust, customizable alert, notification and reporting system.
  • Continued enhancements to the UX (User eXperience).
  • The addition of AI (Artificial Intelligence) features to the Advertising tool.
  • Several exciting new features as suggested by you, our users.

Those are some of our bigger targets for 2019, in no particular order. Corporately we’ll be expanding facilities and personnel, along with adding many more users to the MBS family. Last year saw some incredible growth for us. We plan to continue that trend.

In 2018 we went to several shows, and will be attending even more in 2019. It’s great seeing you out and about, in person, and there’s nothing we gain from more than meeting and talking with our customers. Watch for announcements, and if you can make it to see us at any of the events please do!

Here’s to an amazing New Year.

SELLERS’ PARADISE

In 2018, successful businesses need to be so much more than just the products or services they sell. Look at successful organizations such as Airbnb, McDonalds or Nike; their product is just a small part of what they offer. Nowadays it’s more about the overall customer experience. This experience is often shaped by perfectly-executed branding strategies.

To most people, branding is something that’s associated with global companies that boast huge marketing budgets. But this couldn’t be further from the truth. Every single piece of content that you push out has an impact on how customers see your brand, whether you know it or not …

TIPS & TRICKS

In our New Year’s letter from the Founder we listed major accomplishments from 2018, and one question that came up quite a bit had to do with the MBS Mobile App. We released the Android version of the Mobile App in November, but apparently we didn’t announce that loud enough. Some of you didn’t know how to get it.

We answered everyone who asked, but to rectify that for anyone else who might not know where or how to get the MBS Mobile App, let’s give you a few links here.

The Knowledge Base covers the Mobile App:

THE WORLD OF AMAZON

2018 will be remembered as a momentous year for Amazon’s advertising business. As reported in prior issues, it’s risen to become the third-largest ad seller in the U.S. behind Google and Facebook. What will fuel further advertiser investment are the kinds of product changes and developments we saw this year.

Amazon still categorizes its ad business under an “other” line item in its earnings reports, but that segment topped $2 billion for the first time in Q1 last year, and continued to see triple-digit growth year over year in the following quarters, reaching $2.945 billion in Q3 …

What Amazon Advertising’s big 2018 advancements will mean for 2019

Note: Also mentioned are the latest Amazon API upgrades, which are “significant because integrators have been able to build tools that provide numerous opportunities for account management automation and bulk updating.” ManageByStats has taken advantage of these API upgrades and done just that with its Advertising tool.

If you’ve not yet seen what the MBS Ads tool can do for you, you can try it for free for 14 days. Check it out in your MBS under Advertising.

HUMOR

A 96-year-old, a 94-year-old and a 92-year-old are living together.

One night the 96-year-old draws a bath, puts his foot in and pauses. He yells down the stairs, “Was I getting in or out of the bath?”

The 94-year-old yells back, “I don’t know, I’ll come up and see.” He starts up the stairs and pauses, then yells, “Was I going up the stairs or coming down?”

The 92-year-old is sitting at the kitchen table having coffee, listening to his brothers. He shakes his head and says, “I sure hope I never get that forgetful.” He knocks on the wood table for good luck.

Then yells, “I’ll come up and help both of you, as soon as I see who’s at the door.”

QUOTE OF THE WEEK
